Svenja has enjoyed working in Private Equity since 1998 and has gained in-depth experience in different cycles of the market by making commitments to Venture Capital and Private Equity funds across different vintages, geographies and sectors. Over the years, Svenja has developed a deep network to both General and Limited Partners internationally.
Svenja has also provided comprehensive advisory services to investors, offering expertise
both in strategic asset allocation (SAA) and in the implementation of these strategies. Her support encompasses the development of tailored investment plans that align with clients' long-term
objectives and risk tolerance, as well as hands-on assistance in executing these plans to achieve optimal portfolio performance.
Svenja started her professional career in Executive Search consultancy with Ward Howell International. In 1998, Svenja Becker joined Equity Research & Management AG, advising start-up and small cap companies. From January 2000 till June 2015, Svenja was a driving force behind building Single Family Office EXTOREL. As Senior Investment Manager, she had responsibility for a Private Equity portfolio of more than 40 funds across various vintages, stages, strategies and geographies. Svenja served on several boards. In July 2015, the second largest Swiss bank recruited her into the role of an Ambassador / Senior Representative for the bank's International Wealth Management unit. Based in Munich, she worked closely with the Swiss teams both in Wealth and Asset Management by introducing them to German Family Offices, Entrepreneurs, High Net Worth Individuals et al. In late 2017, Svenja decided to return to Private Equity where her heart was by co-founding Moravia Investments.
She received her M.B.A. from the University of Bamberg and the University College of Swansea / Wales. With her husband and two kids Svenja lives near Munich. When her time allows, she enjoys spending time with family & friends, travelling, sports and cultural activities. She also co-founded the PE Ladies Circle, a well reputable club for female private equity professionals and an Ambassador for FASE, the Financing Agency for Social Entrepreneurship.
