This year's IPEM Private Equity Conference in Cannes, visited by our Managing Partner Svenja Becker, was once again providing a stunning backdrop, as the greatest private capital trade exhibition in Europe with more than 2,000 participants gathering for 3 days and discussing the most imminent topics of our industry. There is no denying the sense of uncertainty has pervaded this year’s agenda as global challenges grow. All in all, discussions were controvers but fruitful and the positive sentiment was prevailing.

Svenja Becker, Managing Partner at Moravia Investments moderated the conversation and asked our panelists ‒ Ping Wang, Partner at Korea Investment Partners and Eric Marchand, Principal at Unigestion ‒ what to keep in mind when investing directly, how are terms, conditions and fees being structured in co-investment deals, where to look and how to spot the best deals. They also debated best practices and industry trends, among other topics.
